Fees and Insurance

I am not a member of any managed care panels – that is, I am considered an “out of network provider.” This need not be an obstacle to our working together; if you have out of network benefits, you should be able to submit for reimbursement; check with your provider for details. These details are: your deductible, the number of sessions allowed per year, the percentage of the fee that will be reimbursed (based on a “usual and customary rate”). The invoice I provide contains all the information necessary for processing your claim. 

We discuss fees at the first consultation; please feel free to express any financial concerns you may have.  I have a serious, collaborative, and compassionate sliding scale for those whose financial constraints merit a reduced fee. ​

I prefer that payment be made at each session. 

I am happy to provide a weekly invoice, if you prefer to submit to insurance as we go.
